Food Rescue
Partnership Program

Food Rescue Operations

Fighting hunger and food waste simultaneously by rescuing surplus food from local businesses.

Our Partners

We work with local supermarkets, bakeries, cafes, and restaurants to collect quality food that can't be sold but is perfectly safe and nutritious to eat.

The Process
  1. Collection: Volunteers pick up surplus food from partner businesses
  2. Sorting: Items are checked for quality and safety
  3. Distribution: Food is stocked in the pātaka kai or distributed directly
  4. Impact: Businesses reduce waste, community gets fed
